2019 Primary Leadership Meeting

With all the recent 'adjustments' in the church, the theme for our Primary Leadership Dinner (for presidents, counselors and secretaries) was "Rolling with the Changes."

We setup 4 tables and had the Presidents all sit together, the First Counselors, and so on.

Table place cards - by calling

Also on the tables we had Tootsie Rolls with these uplifting cards:

For dinner we had soup, salad and... you guessed it, ROLLS! And for dessert, Cinnamon ROLLS!

During the dinner we played a slideshow of pictures from our Activities that year. Our weather in Arizona is so nice in November that we were able to have our dinner outside.

After dinner we had each of the Stake Primary Presidency and the Stake Presidency Counselor over Primary speak. Here is the presentation on the new Children and Youth program.

Following the Savior Activity

For our Stake Primary activity day, we went back in time to the Holy Land, “Following the Savior” to see what His life was like. We divided the children into 5 groups (about 15-20 each) to rotate to each class to hear 2 stories (3-5 minutes each) and then do a 10 minute activity. All were asked to dress in character with biblical style clothing/robes.

The stories all came from a series in the 2010/2011 Friend Magazine and were retold from the point of view of someone who "witnessed" the event.

Invitation rolled into scrolls and tied with string. Posters printed on 11x17" and mounted on a half sheet of poster board.

Children entered a Bizaar in old Jerusalem.
