90's Clueless Birthday Party

My 12 year old niece wanted a Clueless party. She loves the movie but I think it was because her favorite color is yellow. I had a lot of fun going down memory lane to design the invitation and games but mostly it made me feel old!

Invitation

Centerpieces - Bent Acrylic Frames, 5x7 Double Vertical. Top piece is glued on to toothpicks and inserted between the sheets of paper. Displayed on a shiny silver and colorful scrapbook paper with a 90's toy or cassette tape. I was going to tie a balloon to each one but ran out of time and ultimately didn't need it.

Party Favors - I know I went a little crazy but I was having fun shopping, mostly from Oriental Trading and Amazon. Favor bags include: clear makeup bag, face mask, 90s slap bracelet, mini pink notebook, pen with big pom pom, star stickers, sunflower sucker (b-day girl's favorite flower), prism camera necklace, and not pictured, Ring pop and Mentos. We placed one bag at each chair with a white fringe boa. They were a big hit and even the mom's wanted one.

Games:

Bingo - While we waited for our pizza, we played a few rounds of Bingo. I made 24 randomized cards. Each card has all the pictures but in a different order. I had to explain that the middle "Clueless" spot was the "Free" spot. We played a few normal rounds and then added rules for horizontal only, vertical only and then diagonal only. Here is a PDF of 24 cards plus the calling cards.

Truth or Dare - While they were finishing up eating we got the Truth or Dare cards out. They passed around the deck of cards with a dice. If they rolled an even number they had to do Truth and if they rolled an odd they had to do Dare. I made sure they were all appropriate to do in a restaurant. We went around the table 3 times. They had fun making a TP headdress, going outside and yelling "I am (name)! Hear me roar!" and telling about eating bugs and peeking at Christmas presents. Here is a PDF of 38 cards plus a page of blanks to add your own. Print double sided on heavy paper, flip on short side.

MASH - After cake and presents, I passed out MASH sheets for them to play until their parents picked them up. Everyone had fun playing. I printed them double sided and cut them in half sheets. Here is a PDF.

Cake - Our family has a favorite chocolate peanut butter cake that is requested at almost every party. We tried to make a plaid using Reese's Pieces, regular and minis. All that matters is that it tased amazing!
